This is an exceptional Mexican sterling warrior brooch circa 1930's -1940's.  It has a very beautifully made headdress of silver expertly formed into an ornate open filagree design.  The headdress is set in front of the green glass face which is bezel set with silver with a twining rope edging.  On the back of the brooch are the words "Sterling Mexico".  The original safety catch has been replaced.  There is a beautiful patina and the entire piece is 2 1/2" long by 2" wide.
