This Stratton compact marked "Made in England" is just beautiful.  The design on the top looks Arabesque with a symmetrical pattern in black, gold, coral and green.  The edges are scalloped.  The bottom has a radial star pattern.  Inside the mirror is beveled and the powder sifter, though used, is intact.  Overall the compact shows that it has been lovingly used, yet is still in very good condition.  This beautiful piece will bring joy to it's new owner who appricates the elegance of this bygone treasure.  It measures just over 2 3/4" in diameter.  SORRY.
