  Wonderful Welsbro working Swiss lapel watch is a treasure from the 1940s era.  Sometimes referred to as a nurses watch, this lapel watch hangs from a pin and has a wind-up stem.  Marked with the words ”Weslbro and Swiss” on the face, it also is marked ”10k RGP” for 10 carat rolled gold plate.  The gold is a shade of rose gold and the watch is working as can be seen by the ticking of the second hand which is at the bottom of the face.  The watch crystal is clear and a small amount of gold plating wear can be seen on the edge of the watch pin and the decorative half-circles on the watch. Petite in size, the watch face is ¾ of an inch in diameter.  From the top to the bottom, the pin and watch together measures 2 ¼ inches.
