Art Deco sterling silver
filigree lavaliere with blue stone is a fine example of the art deco period jewelry.
The clear blue sapphire colored stone has an open back that allows it to sparkle. The setting is an ornate open filigree with granulation
and touches of gold plating on the tips of the floral accents. From the 1920s to 1930s period, this is a fine piece of vintage jewelry. The pendant and bracket are both marked “Sterling” and
measure 1 ½ inches long. It is attached to a sterling replacement chain. The entire length of the necklace is 18 inches.
