Antique Guilloché Gold Filled Pendant
Rare antique guilloché enameled gold filled pendant has a radial sunburst effect
with a garland of three pink roses delicately painted against a sky blue background. A gold foil ribbon also known as
a paillons is embedded atop the garland adding sparkle to this piece, a technique popular in the very late Victorian to the
Edwardian period, 1890s to 1901. The enameled drop is mounted on an openwork gold filled sunburst. This piece
was purchased in Europe and most likely originates from an Eastern European country, Hungary or Czechoslovakia. This
piece is a pendant only and measures 1 ½ inches long by 1” wide at its widest point and is in excellent condition.
A new gold filled bail has been added for your convenience.
