Wonderful antique Art Nouveau  gold filled pendant features a most lovely and delicate curved floral openwork setting a marquise cut amethyst stone.  Even the bail is decorated with a bit of floral embossing.  The art nouveau or “new art” style of jewelry was popular in 1890 through 1910 although the designs produced have been treasured for many years following it's heyday.  This lovely pendant is in excellent condition and measures 1 1/8” long with a ¼” long bail and hangs from a 15” long chain.  Note:  If the chain seems too short for you, we do sell chain extenders that will add 2 ½” to a chain.
