Green Czech Rhinestone Vintage Choker Necklace
Wonderful vintage green rhinestone choker necklace is made of a central cluster of flat
teardrop shaped rhinestones prong set in a flower arrangement with round stones in the center. The center plaque is
flanked by two smaller plaques then lead to single green glass beads spaced apart by textured brass baton links. Links
such as these were used in the period of 1910 through the 1920s. Brass was typically used in the transitional period
between World Wars I and II or 1918 through the 1930s. The decorative parts of the necklace are in excellent condition
for their age and the ending clasp section has been replaced by a newer replacement chain. The entire necklace measures
16 inches long with the drop measuring about 1 inch. This is an excellent example of transitional jewelry, both bright
yet understated.
