An Art Deco treasure
is found in this wonderful necklace of rhodium filigree plaques topped with periwinkle blue and white enameled flowers.
Four plaques of flowers are interspersed with prong set half moon lapis blue glass stones. The faux lapis is very realistic
with natural varying swirls of blue and flecks of coppery sparkle that mimic the real stone. The stones are prong set
and the links end in a paper clip type fine chain that is typical for the era (c. 1925). Finding these rhodium filigree
beauties is always a treat and this necklace is exceptionally pretty. The panels measure 11/16 inches wide and the stones
measure 5/8 inches wide. The entire necklace is 15 inches long. There is some wear to the rhodium plating on the
edge and back of one of the panels with the rest of the piece in very good condition.
