Vintage Job's Tears Bib Necklace
Vintage Job's Tears bib necklace in a great design sets this lovely natural bead necklace apart from
others made of Job's Tears beads. Job's Tears are a natural pod from grass seeds grown in tropical climates and native
to China, though they are grown around the world and used to make jewelry, handbags and many other items. This necklace
was strung in a fringe beaded bib style and hangs beautifully around the neck. Most likely from the 1960s, the color
is a soft grey color believed to be the natural color of the bead. The bib creates a collar around the neck and clasps
with a simple J-hook. The longest fringes are 2 ½ inches long and the length is 14 ¼ inches or choker
