This is a very nice set of mother-of-pearl cufflinks from the 1920s.  The links are identical on both sides and snap together.  They are marked on the inside with the words “Snap Link”.  The links are octagonal with a decorative edge and each has a rhinestone set deeply into the center.  The tie bar is very small and decorated to match the engraved edging of the cufflinks.  The tie bar is solid in the center with two openings on either side.  They may have been used to hold two sides of a scarf, cravat or some other neck scarf that would hang in two pieces.  This set is unusual as the pieces are all together and set in their original packing.  The cufflinks are ½ inch in diameter and the tie bar is 2 inches long.  Both are in excellent condition.
