Mexican Coral Silver Vintage Earrings
Great pair of vintage Mexican silver and coral glass earrings feature a square red coral stone held in place by thin
diagonal bands of silver. The stones are set in a high collar setting and all rests on top of a pretty ornate plaque
of sterling that features hollow balls and silver curls on top of an oxidized background. These earrings are a lovely
example of the flavor of Mexico and are marked on the back “Hecho en Mexico 925 Sterling” and the initials
RIL. They have screw-back closures and the lack of the eagle stamp with this style of closure indicates that they are
from the 1930s to 1940s period. In great condition with some patina from age, they measure 1” tall by 5/8”
