A fantastic find of very early Mexican silver filigree in this lovely necklace. Jewelry of this type is believed
to come from the 19th Century and predates the Taxco system of identification for Mexican Jewelry.
Filigree “petals” are joined together to form the central flower with graduated petals leading up the chain to
a simple hook closure. The central flower has some artistically rendered realistic parts in the center of the blossom.
The necklace is very delicate in style, with an airy feel. There is one petal missing from the central flower and is
otherwise, intact. Marked “Made in Mexico”, the length is 16 1/2” long, or choker length with the
large flower measuring 1 1/4” in diameter.
