Bracelets - Vintage Mexican Silver and Green Bracelet - SOLD!
SORRY, THIS ITEM HAS ALREADY BEEN SOLD!
This is a very pretty vintage
silver and green calcite filigree bracelet from Mexico
circa the 1940s. This bracelet is a bit unusual in that it is more petite than those great chunky silver bracelets that
were so popular during the 40s. Each green calcite cabochon stone is set in a wavy silver flower-like cup and surrounded
by numerous silver filigree “flowers”. Eight links of these flowers are set on a flat silver backing making
the bracelet very sturdy and wearable. The links are then joined together with elongated silver links making the bracelet
very comfortable to wear. It is joined together by a hook closure. The back of the clasp is marked with a stamp
reading “Sterling Mexico”. The bracelet measures 7 3/8” long and each panel is 5/8” tall.
It is in excellent condition.
