Great quality and workmanship are found in this vintage chunky silver tone necklace and bracelet set by the Monet company.  The style combines both shiny and matte links with the choker necklace connecting in the back with an adjustable hook.  The matching bracelet has the same links and closes with a fold-over clasp and includes a safety chain.  Both pieces are smooth on the back so they feel soft against your skin.  Vintage sets like these are made of solid metal and feel weighty in your hand, unlike the flimsy jewelry being manufactured today.  This set is marked “Monet © ®” dating it to post 1955.  Jewelry of this style was very popular in the 1960s era.  The choker necklace measures 14” with an additional 2 3/4” of adjustable chain.  The bracelet is 7 3/8” long and both are made with links that are 3/4” wide.  Both pieces are in excellent condition.
