Sets - Renoir Copper Tulip Set - SOLD!
Gorgeous set of vintage Renoir copper
jewelry consisting of a choker necklace, earrings
and brooch. This is a great find and in superb condition. The choker necklace has links of modernist copper tulips
with a darkened coating in the recesses to enhance the three dimensional look of the “tulips”. Each tulip
is linked together ending in a fold-over clasp. The earrings carry the same tulip design that is enhanced with a scroll
of copper that ends in a curl. The brooch repeats the tulip design with one large tulip beside three smaller ones for
an organic yet modern asymmetrical design. Each piece is in very good condition and dates to the 1960s when the Renoir
line was manufacturing its distinctive copper jewelry in California. The pieces retain their protective coating
with very little wear and look nearly new. The necklace measures 15” long with links 5/8” wide. The
earrings are 1” wide and long and have clip backs. The brooch is 2 3/8” long by 1 7/8” wide.
This set was purchased together though only the earrings are marked with the mark “Renoir” in script. SORRY!
