Gorgeous Art Deco enameled rhinestone bird pin is from the 1930s.  His enameled feathers are done in a translucent red and yellow guilloché enameling.  The metal appears plated on the back with brass on the front.  Clear rhinestones have been replaced to restore this old piece to its original beauty.  Unlike other rhinestone birds of this period, this bird is smaller than most, measuring 2 1/2” long from top to bottom and about 3/4” wide at its widest point making it a perfect size for any jacket, dress, suit or sweater.  In very good condition, there is some enamel loss on the bottom of the wing tips.  SORRY.
