Hard to find vintage reverse hand painted glass beads from China feature delicately hand  painted butterflies and writing inside clear glass beads.  The clear beads are actually beads within beads with the painted beads inside another protective glass bead.  The clear beads alternate with dark blue Japanese milefiore beads that are hand knotted with silk chord on this unique set of vintage beads.  The strand is 30” long ending with a pretty gold plated ornate Chinese clasp so they can be worn in one strand or doubled.  The clear beads are 13.5 mm in diameter and the blue milefiore beads are 10mm.  They are in very good vintage condition.
