Art Deco Filigree Crystal Lavalier Pendant Necklace
A stunning, delicate, eye
catching piece, this necklace is composed of a single cut crystal drop that hangs from a silver colored rhodium filigree central
plaque. The filigree plaque holds one collet set marcasite stone. The chain is a paper clip type chain found often
in the delicate pendant necklaces of the 1920s Period. The chain is embellished with hand painted Czech glass champaign
colored donut shaped faux pearls that are set above and below with cone shaped crystal spacer beads. The lovely crystal
drop is cut in a pleasing hexagonal shape and hangs from an ornately stamped bail. The chain is 15 3/4” long with
a fold over clasp and the plaque and drop fall 2” below the chain. The drop itself is 3/4” long and the
overall look of the necklace is delicate and ornate. This would make a gorgeous necklace for a bride or any other formal
or dressy occasion.
