Beautiful antique German Silver mesh purse is marked “G. Silver” on the inside of the purse frame.  This antique mesh purse has a lovely curved frame with engraved flowers and geometric openwork bars reminiscent of Greek columns.  The mesh is in excellent condition with hanging metal balls that alternate between spheres and spindle shapes.  The bag itself is 5 1/2” wide at the top of the frame and measures 7 1/4” long from the double ball closure to the end of the tassels.  This antique German silver mesh purse dates circa 1900.
