Necklaces - Yowytewa, Herbert - Native American Pendant - SOLD!

This pendant has it all.  It is beautiful, sturdy and a signed collectible piece of Native American art.   A teardrop shaped chunk of turquoise provides the centerpiece for the pendant.  It is bezel set and surrounded with flowers and foliage that drape in a graceful manner showing the artistry and skill of the craftsman.  The entire piece is set on a backing sheet of sterling silver with a fixed silver bail from which to thread your chain.  This piece is attributed to Native American Hopi silversmith Hubert Yowytewa who began producing silver jewelry in 1965. It is marked with the maker's mark "HY" on the back of the pendant which is also marked "STERLING".  The turquoise stone measures 3/4" from top to bottom and is 9/16" wide.  The entire pendant, not including the bail, measures 1 3/16" long by 7/8" wide.  SORRY. THIS ITEM HAS ALREADY BEEN SOLD!
