This beautiful and delicate pin is made of sterling silver and features bead set marcasite stones in a graceful bow.  This classic pin is marked “Sterling Germany” which dates it to the pre 1945 era.  Pins like these are always well made and of quality materials and design.  Unlike some of the brooches of the 30s to 40s era, the marcasite pins are usually smaller and of a more delicate design than the silver vermeil pieces of the 40s.  This one measures 1 1/4” wide by 1 1/2” long and is in excellent condition.
