Mexican Silver Carved Mask Bracelet
Carved warrior masks flaunt the pride of Mexico in their Aztec heratige. This lovely
old bracelet combinds the best of the Mexican bracelets. The masks are hand carved of an onyx stone dyed green to resemble
jade and is refered to as "Mexican jade". The masks are prong set and linked to alternate panels that have
ornately curled silver wire set on an oxydized or blackened background. All the panels are set on a backing of
sterling silver and fit together with a tidy clasp. Each panel is 7/8" long and 3/8 wide making it a very comfortable
size to wear. The piece is marked "Made in Mexico 925" and believed to be from the 1940s. One of the
stone masks has a chip in the bottom corner but it does not effect the warrior's face. Other than this flaw, the bracelet
is in very good condition. The link construction also makes this a very comfortable bracelet to wear.
