Necklaces - Hand Painted Persian Pendant - SOLD!
Glorious hand painted Persian pendant is rich in color and detail. This fantastic pendant
depicts two birds perched amongst foliage on a background of Middle Eastern turquoise and red shapes. The background
is made of very detailed red and blue flowers and tiny green dots of foliage. The pendant is painted on an oval mother-of-pearl
shell that adds a lovely sheen of color to the central design. It hangs from an 18" sterling silver herrinbone
chain marked "925 Italy". The pendant, circa 1960s, measures 2 1/2" long by 1 5/8" wide and
is in very good contidion with some minor wear to the painted scene.
