Blue Floral French Cloisonné Enameled Pin
This lovely free form bouquet of flowers is executed in varying shades of blue cloisonné
enemeling on a silvery metal plate. The flowers are dainty and defined by fine gold colored metal cells known as "cloisens"
or partitions, often made of gold electroplated metal, separating the different colors of melted glass. The top of the
pin is coated over with a clear layer making this pin durable as well as pretty. It will look great on a coat or at
the throat of a blouse. The back is a dull silver metal that may be pewter and there is a marking of a stylized "H"
inside a circle. This pretty pin has a trombone clasp and meausures 1 1/4" tall by 2 5/8" wide.
