Art Deco Devon Vintage Swiss Watch
This is a wonderful Devon Art Deco ladies wind-up watch from the 1920s. The watch case
is octagonal with nicely engraved trim on the sides and top. The face, though aged, has great styling with some stripes
behind the lacy hands. The crystal is clear with no cracks. Inside the case are the markings "Nivada Watch
Co. Devon" and "One 1 Jewel Swiss 76132" and "Providence Watch Case Co. - Rolled Plate". The
band is made of open hinged filigree links with an elongated clasp that snaps open allowing plenty of room to slip over
the hand before snapping shut. This watch has had it's inner works restored by a vintage watch repair expert and works well.
All of the outer parts are authentic vintage original parts. When closed, the band and watch measure approx. 6 1/2"
around. The watch case measures 5/8" across by 1" long and is in excellent restored condition.
