Laurel Burch Wood Pin
Always artistic Laurel Burch pin shows three figures embracing and is similar to her "unity family"
and "join hands" pieces. This one is painted gold on a black background and is made of black laquered wood
which is unusual for Burch who worked mostly in enameled metal specalizing in cloisonne. The legs (only 5 for 3 people)
resemble a hair comb and the decoration is typical of Burch's flair for fantasy. It is signed and dated on the back
"Laurel Burch 1992". This charming piece measures 3 1/8" tall by 2" wide but is very light in weight due
to the wood.
