Siam Nielloware Sterling Earrings
White enameled Nielloware on sterling silver earrings depict Mekkala, the Siamese goddess
of lightning. More often found in black enamel, these earrings show the Southeast Asian goddess in sterling silver against
a white background. Marked "Siam Sterling", they are in excellent condition and appear to never have been
worn. Dating from about the 1960s, they measure 15/16" tall by 11/16" wide and have screw-back closures.
