Yellow Carved Topaz Lavalier Pendant
This delicate lavalier pendant of a carved flower is a piece of fine estate jewelry made
of natural yellow topaz. The topaz is a lemon yellow color with inclusions that can be seen when magnified. It is designed
in the style of Edwardian jewelry, yet is a modern version of the flattering lavalier pendants from the early 1900s.
The carved topaz is set in a scalloped 9 carat gold setting and hangs from twisted bars of 9 carat gold that attach
to a fine gold chain. The pendant is marked with the UK Hallmarks that reveal it's origin to be from the city
of London in 1983. Topaz is the birthstone for November. The topaz is 1/2" (14mm) long and the chain is 16 1/2"
including the twisted gold bar. It is in excellent condition. A full view:
