Rings - Vintage Ruby Ring - SOLD!
Stunning simulated ruby is set in an antique 10k gold setting. The oval stone is
well cut and a good size, measuring nearly 1/2" (12 mm) long by 3/8" (9.5mm) wide. The bezel setting is made
of 10k yellow gold flowers around the front with rose gold centers. The shank is nicely embellished with scrollwork and delicate
engraving. Size 6 to 6 1/4. The ring was purchased in a vintage plastic box that may not be original to
the ring. It is marked Arden Mfg. Co., Mount Vernon, N.Y. This company was founded in 1940 which is consistant
with the styling of the Art Deco pink box. The box has a black velvet holding area and white satin material inside the
top. The ring is from the Victorian revival style of the 1940s. The ring purchase includes the vintage box.
