This little donkey is either laughing or refusing to get up and work!  This cute little silver figural pin is very nicely sculpted with smoothed body contours.  He is quite expressive with his ears pulled back and bared teeth.  Marked "Mexico - Silver" this piece dates from the 1920s to the mid-1940s, prior to the Mexican Eagle stamping system.  He is 1 5/8" tall by 1 1/4" wide and is hollow with a flat enclosed back and a C-clasp.
