Necklaces - Carved Nephrite Jade and Silver Necklace - SOLD!
Beautiful and delicate carved nephrite jade necklace is from the 1920s to 1930s.
Three plaques of carved nephrite jade in a dark and varied spinach color are prong set and mounted on open backed settings
each marked "Sterling". The plaques are strung together on a fine silver chain marked "Germany"
which dates them prior to World War II. The three plaques are from China and are carved and pierced in an oval shape
with a floral pattern. The center plaque (22.5mm) is a bit larger than the two flanking plaques (19mm) and they are
separated with fine silver floral patterned filigree discs. The entire necklace measures 16 1/4" in length and is in
