These vintage Mexican silver sombrero earrings depict a Mexican sombrero hat with some very nice detail.  There is a braid of twisted silver around both the rim of the hat as well as the crown.  The braid around the crown also has two beads to make it look like the dangling ends of a tied braid.  The hat is creased at the top and the front of the crown has the word "MEXICO" imprinted on it with an eagle below.  The hat dangles from a hollow silver bead with a faint stamping that looks like "Mexico D.F.".  They have a nice patina that has been left for their new owners to keep or clean.  The back of the sombrero is marked with a script signature that looks like "Jenu".  Below that are the markings "0.925, Hecho en Mexico" denoting Mexican sterling silver and the Eagle stamp #29.  The earrings are 1 1/4" long and weigh 8 grams.  SORRY.
