This is a grand brooch with a very pleasing design that turns gracefully. Four large teardrop
shaped open-backed sapphire blue rhinestones are the main event with smaller ruby colored chatons set in between. Two
open backed ruby colored open-backed rhinestones enclose the leaf-like shape with a curving line of faceted red rhinestones
on top and one aurora borealis chaton set between the blue and red stones. All stones are prong set in a gold tone setting.
The stones vary from 4mm diameter chatons to 20mm long teardrops. Although the style is from the 1950s - 1960s, it may
be a more recent vintage reproduction. The overall length is 2 inches (52mm) long. It is in excellent condition.
