Art Deco Fringed Glass Choker
This is a fantastic necklace made of fringed glass beads in white and blue that are
molded to overlap one another in a naturalistic way. From the 1930's, this necklace strung on string is very well designed
in it's white and blue theme with two small spacer beads allowing room for the central longer "leaves" to drape nicely.
Teardrop shaped blue glass beads transition the "leaves" front piece into smaller round blue and white glass beads that fit
comfortably around the back of the neck ending in a brass spring ring closure. This necklace, despite it's barbaric
theme, is very petite. The longest bead in front is 1 1/8" long and the small white beads going around the back of the
neck are 4 1/2 mm in diameter. The entire necklace is 16" long and could be worn in reverse so that more blue is displayed.
It is a rare and wonderful find as a vintage necklace and is in excellent condition.
