This is a gorgeous strand of French jet beads that date from the 1920's.  These black faceted glass beads have a good weight and are strung on string with small, identically colored spacer beads in between each faceted bead.  These 4 1/2mm diameter beads measure a total of 58 1/2" long and can be worn in many ways due to their length.  Try them in one long strand, doubled up in two equal or unequal lengths like the flappers did, or wear them overlapping as three shorter strands.  SORRY.
