Beatiful large smokey quartz stone sometimes called smoky topaz is set in a sterling silver setting. The stone is multi
faceted with no cracks or breaks and the setting rises gently off the hand in a restrained scalloped pattern. Marked
with the words "Taxco, Mexico, 925" and the Eagle #3 mark in a style that dates this ring to between 1955 and 1980.
The artist's initials are also stamped in a stylized initial FRH. The stone is large, measuring 14 mm across and the
ring is a size 5 1/2. Side view: Makers mark:
