This pin is believed to have been used as a hatpin by a lady who did much travelling in Denmark.
Although the pin is not marked, it is a very handsome and well made pin with a safety closure that could be used on a hat,
scarf or lapel. It is constructed of a tube of silver ending in a ball at either end and banded with fine silver wire
work which contrasts beautifully against the dark patena of the background. No seams are evident in this
lovely piece that measures 4 7/8" long.
