Amazing toy brooch made of plastic, bakelike and wood, this boy has a big heart chest and googly eyes that move.  Arms, legs and feet are all hinged and also the dice in his hands all swing freely from metal rings.  The detail on this piece is great.  His legs are made of celulose acetate plastic with faint thin stripes (like pinstripe pants).  His head is made of wood with the features glued on.  His arms are made of a pitted bead that looks like bone or possibly wood.  His bakelite parts include his red breast, his dice and the round bead top of his hat.  This piece comes from a New York estate liquidated in 1999 and was purchased along with his brother (item #706).  Circa the 1960s, he measures 5 1/2" tall.
