Victorian Etruscan Revival Brooch
Circa 1865, this Victorian brooch is decorated with granulation. It is hollow metal
with a 12 karat gold wash, decorated with a textured floral wreath riveted on top of the flat gold washed base.
The bottom section is horse-shoe shaped and swings from a hinge. Within it hang three ornaments that swing freely from
three links of chain. There is a small seed pearl in the center with a curling rope-like ornament and more granulation
balls above the ribbon-like top. The back has a C-clasp. This wonderful piece measures 1 1/4" wide by 2"long. View
