Beautifully crafted circa 1930 silver and
Mexican jade bracelet, this piece was made before the popular Taxco stamped jewelry. Stamped simply "Silver Mexico",
this sturdy piece is made of five links, each backed up by a plate of silver. Each plate has silver scrollwork and a
bezel set stone of Mexican "jade" which is not true jade but colored onyx made up of two carved faces and three
large (1 5/8" x 1") pieces of solid stone which is domed and grooved to fit twisted silver rope supports.
Both stunning and heavy, the silver used during this time had a content of either 925 (sterling) or greater. Measures
7" long and 1 5/16" wide not including the box clasp. SORRY. THIS ITEM HAS ALREADY BEEN SOLD!
